We support the creation of a publicly owned, centralized digital currency through the Bank of Canada that would coexist alongside our current Canadian dollar. This modern approach will reduce reliance on private banking, improve access to financial services, and protect economic sovereignty.
Provincial – Essential Party of Ontario:
We will work with the federal government to ensure Ontario’s residents can access and benefit from digital currency infrastructure. Provincial programs will be designed to integrate with a future Canadian digital dollar, enhancing efficiency and transparency in public spending.
